Mr. Andries Scheepers started ANMAR ESSO VERSPREIDERS in 1969. The business’s main function was the distributing and selling of ESSO products i.e. Diesel, Petrol, Oil, Illuminating Paraffin etc.
When ESSO decided to withdraw their operations from South Africa due to the political climate ZENEX OIL P/L was incorporated.
Mr. Scheepers continued to distribute Zenex products and changed his business name to ANMAR ZENEX VERSPREIDERS.
The business was changed from a sole proprietor to a CC in September 2000 at approximately the same time when ZENEX was sold to ENGEN.
Currently we are trading as Anmarkati Verspreiders. Altough Mr Andries Scheepers is still involved in the business, his son Tinus Scheepers is the managing member.
